Sound through vibration

Damien playing the "Kalimba"

Playing the "Xylophone"
"The little/short stick was higher pitch because it takes a shorter amount of time for the vibrations to move through it." -Erick

Playing the "String Beam"
"When you pluck the string beam you can make a low sound or a high sound depending on how long the string is." -Lily

I'Janay and Janna playing the "Kalimba"
"Has a weird sound????? The movement through the vibration makes it weird." -Janna
"It looks weird!"- I'Janay

Emily playing the "string beam"
"The lowest pitch happens when the cup is on the short side. When you pluck it, the vibration takes a long time to get to the end. So, it creates a low pitch." -Emily
